JOB TITLE: Art Director
REPORTS TO: Creative Director

The Role:
PXP Studios is looking for an Art Director with experience creating a mix of social content, editorial content and/or traditional campaigns. You bring big ideas that can work across all mediums and are excited to be heavily involved at every stage of the process from concept to creation. Your interests and skill sets don’t stop at that of a typical Art Director. Have a passion for photography? Dabble in podcast production? Spend your weekends building a following on Tik Tok? All extracurricular activities and side hustles welcomed!
Role Objectives:
- Collaborate with Copywriter, strategist, producers, editors, and animators to raise the level of work across multiple clients.
- Understand when and how to engage different departments to blur the lines of Media, Strategy, Creative and Production.
- Develop creative concepts for thumb stopping social.
- Anticipate and address strategic and creative obstacles and provide possible solutions.
- Think bigger!
- Adapt look, feel and style of work across a variety of brands, targets, and mediums, and to actively participate in multiple projects simultaneously.
- Gather information from media, research, and trend spotters to create an appropriate style and visual expression for product or a service and
- Remain current on industry and technology trends.
- Craft, present and pitch creative concepts and decks to internal and client teams.
- Help create and maintain a high energy level throughout the team.
- Review all production development work for accuracy before final production.
- Supervise internal and 3rd party/vendor creative productions.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience in an advertising agency or content creation role.
- Your experience spans social, digital, integrated, and holistic brand marketing across multiple brands and industries.
- Demonstrable strategic marketing thinking and independent work ethic.
- Strong presentation skills.
- The ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects and to adjust to inevitable changes in timelines, deadlines, and project goals.
- Experience with production is a HUGE plus.
- Must have a strong online portfolio, candidates will not be considered without one.
- May require overnight travel up to 10%.

Compensation Range: $64,500.00 – $101,500.00 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
