Art Adjunct Pool – On-Campus Opportunity

POSITION DESCRIPTION
Taft College is seeking a pool of qualified candidates with demonstrated instructional skills to join an outstanding team of faculty and staff to provide high quality programs and services for our students. Teaching assignments may be temporary, part-time and/or on-call and may be immediate or as needed (as specified in Education Code 8748.25). We are seeking lecturers who have the ability to teach in the above area for inclusion in a pool for the Fall 2023 semester.
Courses: ARTH 1510 Prehistoric Renaissance Art History and/or ARTH 2023 Survey of Asian Art
Modality: Online
Note: This will be an on-campus assignment.
QUALIFICATIONS
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
The minimum qualifications for this adjunct lecturer pool can be met in one of three ways:
Master’s in art history; OR
Bachelor’s in art history and master’s in history; OR
Master’s in art with a recorded emphasis or concentration in art history; OR
An Equivalency Determination may be submitted along with all application materials to be considered for this position if you do not meet the stated minimum qualifications. COMPENSATION and BENEFITS:
This is a temporary adjunct position and is not eligible for participation in District benefit programs. Placement on the Adjunct Salary Schedule will be determined based on education and experience, and will be between $69.75-$81.96 per hour.
