Working alongside our Insurance Asset Management coverage team in the Americas, this individual will partner with our dedicated investment and strategy teams across both public and private markets to manage, enhance and develop client relationships

The Insurance Asset Management team provides innovative insurance solutions for life, health, property and casualty and reinsurance companies. Sales teams are responsible for selling a broad spectrum of products across all asset classes, including private debt, private equity, infrastructure, real estate, fixed income and equities. In addition, sales teams collaborate with clients on topics including asset allocation, risk budgeting and asset / liability management. Globally focused, our insurance team manages general account insurance assets for clients across Europe, North America, Bermuda and Asia.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
Associates are dedicated to supporting the efforts of the relationship management team to retain business and expand existing relationships through the following:
- Ensure clients’ needs are met by maintaining accounts, fulfilling bespoke and recurring requests as well as working with senior Client Relationship Managers on a wide array of processes and tasks
- Partner with team members to coordinate portfolio reviews, prospect client pitches, product presentations, and requests for proposals
- Assist in the development of strategic plans for individual clients, outlining: a service plan and cross selling opportunities
- Identify and escalate any sensitive client issues to senior team members; coordinate a timely response to the client
- Coordinate with key stakeholders across the Division including Portfolio Managers, Product Managers, Legal, Technology, Operations and Compliance with a common goal of meeting clients’ needs
QUALIFICATIONS
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and strong academic background required
- 2+ years of work experience in fixed income asset management or related field a plus
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and excellent follow-through
- Ability to grasp problems described by clients, formulate them clearly, and communicate the resulting analysis to clients
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Strong interpersonal skills: Ability to build trust and confidence of colleagues, strengthen relationships through ongoing dialog and interactions, and collaborate well with others
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment
- Strong skills in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
- Investment Management Certificate required, or obtained within 3 months of joining (7, SIE, 63)
Salary Range
The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $90000-$125000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
