Ayco’s Corporate Benefit & Compensation team is focused on learning the benefit offerings of each of our corporate clients, training our financial counselors to help clients maximize use of their plans, and providing trend and thought leadership support to our corporate partners.
We are seeking professionals with an interest in employee benefit and compensation planning, who have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail, strong communication skills, and client service are essential to maintaining and enhancing our business.

Ayco, Personal Financial Management, partners with Fortune 1000 companies to design and implement tailored financial planning programs for their workforce-leveraging the 50-year heritage of Ayco and the comprehensive resources of Goldman Sachs to meet the evolving needs of their employees. Ayco believes companies best serve their stakeholders and the greater economy when their employees’ financial lives are clear, understood and in their control. Ayco advisors and technical specialists help clients achieve their personal financial goals through education and guided implementation across seven key financial disciplines, including employee benefit planning.
HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL
- Become a key part of a team responsible for managing all aspects of benefit & compensation planning for our corporate partners.
- Partner with lead Benefits Specialist and corporate clients to gather and synthesize client company benefit and compensation plan information on an ongoing basis.
- Participate in regular meetings with corporate clients as well as internal stakeholders who support our relationships.
- Act as a resource for our financial advisors for company-specific benefit questions related to plan provisions, benefit enrollments and changes.
- Conduct company-specific trainings and regularly communicate plan information, changes and enrollments to financial advisors.
- Assist in developing benefit and compensation related planning ideas for advisors.
- Proactively monitor and research industry trends and new developments in benefit and compensation plans that can be leveraged to develop thought leadership for our corporate partners.

QUALIFICATIONS
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Bachelor’s Degree required; concentration in Business, Human Resources, or Communications preferred
- 1- 2 years of related work experience
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint, with the ability to learn other analytic tools a plus
- Ability to break down large and complex sets of data
- Detail oriented with strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Salary Range
The expected base salary for this Albany, New York, United States-based position is $55,000-$75,000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
