The Law Department is seeking an experienced attorney to supervise and coordinate its work related to telecommunications and artificial intelligence. The Law Department currently provides a wide range of counselling, transactional work, and litigation related to the awarding and administering of telecommunications franchises, including issues arising out of mobile communication and cable television franchises and public communication structures, and emerging Cyber Security and Artificial Intelligence issues such as Automated Determination Systems. These matters are currently handled in multiple divisions and the selected attorney will be responsible for coordinating the work of the Law Department in these areas.
Minimum Qual Requirements
Applicants must have substantial legal experience following graduation from an ABA accredited law school and must be admitted and in good standing in New York State.
Preferred Skills
Ideal applicants would have experience with telecommunications law, supervisory experience, strong legal writing and analytical skills, strong interpersonal skills, and excellent judgment.
