Job Description:
This position within the President’s Office is responsible for managing all accounting related activities and daily fiscal operations.
The selected candidate provides effective fiscal management and supports the budgeting process, including the analysis and review of financial information. Designs, establishes, and maintains budget, expense, reconciliation, and managerial reports. Analyzes and interprets financial information for planning and control purposes, ensuring the strategic allocation of resources to effectively accomplish the Office’s goals and objectives.
Additionally, provides support to President’s Office staff for all fiscal matters and performs analyses in response to specific needs. Identifies, evaluates, supports, and solves complex issues related to a variety of fiscal processes. Performs a variety of special projects as assigned or as needed to support the President or other stakeholders. Compiles data, conducts research, performs analysis, and formulates recommendations.
Expected Salary:
$85,000 – 95,000 commensurate with experience
Minimum Requirements:
Master’s degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience; or a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area and four years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
This position must have excellent written and oral communication skills, including knowledge of best practices for presentations and business reports. The incumbent must have a comprehensive knowledge of accounting and internal controls and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
