We’re currently searching for an Assistant Director for Housing Services and Occupancy Management to join our Housing Services team in Blacksburg, VA to help us in our mission. So, if you love data, creative problem-solving, and being in the center of the action, please keep reading.
Here’s what you need to know about the role:
1) You’ll be joining the Housing Services team; a department centered on supporting students and families by providing excellent customer service and responsive communications relating to contracting, assignments, and billing for on-campus housing.
2) You’ll be reporting to the Associate Director for Housing Services, in a Regular twelve-month, 100% administrative professional appointment.
3) You’ll be responsible for processes by which students sign their housing contracts, choose their rooms, and navigate the administrative tasks required to make the most of their housing opportunities.
4) You’ll be offered a base compensation package between $50,000-$52,000, along with a comprehensive benefits package which includes health insurance, paid leave, retirement, tuition assistance, VT discounts, and so much more!
Required Qualifications
• Master’s degree and/or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Public Administration, Finance, Business Management, Student Affairs, or related field
• Previous experience in housing administration, residential property management, or related field
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and housing software systems
• Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail
• Strong customer services skills in working with diverse populations
Preferred Qualifications
• Prior experience with StarRez housing software
• Prior experience with SQL language and database management
