Assistant Director for Youth Programs

Job Description:

Program Management – Serves as the team leader for Youth Programs.

Personnel Management – Hires, trains, schedules, supervises, and evaluates teams exempt, OPS, and student employees for Youth Programs.

Financial, Administrative, & Other Duties as Assigned

  • Develops and implements a comprehensive budget for the Youth Programs unit
  • Assess and analyze data associated with the programs
  • Coordinates and implements marketing plans for the programs
  • Operates state vehicles in the performance of job duties

Expected Salary:

$50,000 – $60,000

Minimum Requirements:

Master’s degree in appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience or a bachelor’s degree in appropriate areas of specialization and four years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s Degree and three years of experience in youth programs with emphasis on youth camps in a campus recreation setting; ability to work with minimal supervision, to think critically and to undertake initiatives; ability to effectively supervise full-time and student employees; and is self-motivated, adaptable, a great team player and customer focused.
