The Assistant Director of CatamounTV will support the broadcasting efforts of Vermont Athletics by working in concert with the Director of CatamounTV and the Communications staff to produce live events and generate creative video content.
Responsibilities will include managing Vermont’s live event coverage on ESPN+/3 and AmericaEast.TV, filming home events, managing footage archive and delivering footage for media requests, creating video content for use on the athletic department’s social media channels and website. The position will work with all sports including men’s and women’s ice hockey and men’s and women’s basketball. Ability to work flexible hours, including frequent evenings and weekends.
Position is slated to start August 7 and run through May 10. Compensation is $20/hour and the position is eligible for overtime.

Skills and Qualifications:
- 1-3 years’ experience in sports live production
- Experience in remote and studio production including technical directing, editing, camera operation, and audio.
- Experience with Ross production equipment, Hitachi studio cameras, replay systems and related equipment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of IT skills, including control room settings and services.
- Experience troubleshooting technical issues that may arise before or during production.
- Adobe Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, After Effects) for editing.
- Motion and still graphic creation using Adobe Creative Suite or other related software.
