Assistant Director of Financial Aid Project Implementation & Support

General Description of Position:
The Assistant Director of Financial Aid Project Implementation and Support is responsible for ensuring timely and successful completion of a variety of projects and special initiatives within the purview of the Systems Office Financial Aid team.

Major Responsibilities:

Assists with managing the workflow associated with multiple projects and initiatives housed within the Systems Office Financial Aid team.

Helps to facilitate project meetings and discussions, including crafting meaningful agendas, documenting and synthesizing discussions, and establishing and assigning actionable next steps.

Contributes to developing detailed, robust implementation plans with built-in continuous improvement methods.

Tracks deadlines, deliverables, and outcomes of projects across Systems Office Financial Aid.

Provides support on workforce assistance programs, including Trade Adjustment Assistance, WIOA, and the Workforce Ready Grant.

Serves as a liaison to other teams at the College and external entities to communicate the needs of Systems Office Financial Aid, solicit opportunities for collaboration, and participate in cross-functional work groups and committees.

Minimum Qualifications:

Associate’s degree required.

Experience managing complex program requirements required.

Superior attention to detail and strong organizational skills required.

Proven success simultaneously managing multiple projects required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree.

Financial Aid or Workforce Development experience preferred but not required.

General knowledge of postsecondary education.

$50,000 – $55,000 Annualized
