Starting Pay: $26.39-$27.26 hr. plus great benefits per Custodial Agreement
Anticipated Start Date: ASAP
Closing Date: July 14th, 2023 Candidates will be reviewed upon submission with selection starting no sooner than five working days following the posting. The position will remain open until a suitable candidate has been found.
Work Week: 8 hours per day (260 Days Per Year)
Shift: B Shift (3:30-11:30 p.m.)
License required: 1st Class C Boiler’s License or higher, may consider a lower level license if no applicants with a proper license apply.
Student Level: M.S.
Position Summary:
Performs intermediate skilled trades work planning, organizing and supervising the maintenance and repair of school buildings, interior and exterior and related equipment, directing the work of custodial staff, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the limited supervision of the Building Principal, Head Custodial Engineer and Director of Building Operations. Continuous oversight is exercised over Custodian and Licensed Custodian.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED and considerable experience working with boilers and building maintenance.
Preferred: Associates/Technical degree
Special Requirements:
Boiler’s license as required by the MN Dept of Labor for boiler at assigned building (1st Class C or higher) Valid driver’s license in the State of Minnesota
