Assistant Manager of Service Delivery (Salt Lake)

Job Summary

Designs or modifies programs to increase employee productivity and quality for Supervisors and bargaining employees. Plans, evaluates, organizes, and integrates all activities associated with staff performance, training and development, and performance appraisals. Builds a culture to support Salt Lake Business Unit’s short- and long-term vision. Develops and/or approves recommendations to change systems, policies, and procedures in order to accomplish organizational and business unit goals. Embodies and maintains positive productive employee relations. Provides leadership and direction to operations performance team to project a positive image of UTA through partnerships with community leaders.
Minimum Qualifications

EDUCATION/TRAINING

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field.

EXPERIENCE

  • Three years management/supervisory experience. Three years’ experience working in the transit industry.

Skills:

  • Oral and written communication.
  • Ability to build and maintain interpersonal relationships.

Ability to:

  • Learn Bus Operations and apply company policies and procedures.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office (Prefer)
  • Intermediate General Computer Skills (Prefer)
  • Supervise and evaluate the work of employees.
  • Motivate behavior change.
  • Educate, train, and evaluate objectively
  • Interact with all levels of employees
  • This job requires regular attendance

Pay Rate: $ 77,500.00 or more depending on experience
