Overview
The Store Design Assistant Manager will support the conceptual design and development for all Vitamin Shoppe stores. As part of the team, this position will work cross functionally with other departments including store construction, visual merchandising, and store operations to execute and maintain brand standards and consistency.
Responsibilities
- Assist with generating new concepts for store designs and fixtures
- Generate floorplans, storefront elevations and 3D renderings to support design solutions
- Assist with the development of storefront elevations and sign exhibit renderings.
- Maintain brand prototypical drawings including floor plans, fixture plans, elevations, renderings and specifications.
- Work closely with International Business partners to ensure store design criteria is translated in an appropriate manner for different space configurations.
- Develop relationships with the visual merchandising team to review fixture layouts and store specific needs.
- Generate design development fixture cut sheets
- Prepare presentation materials
Qualifications
Essential Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, Architecture or equivalent experience.
Required Knowledge:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Podium (or other rendering software), Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Windows.
- General understanding of the construction, fixture and furniture manufacturing process.
- 1-4 years of relevant experience with a focus in retail design preferred

Compensation
The wage for this position is based on many factors such as role requirements, skill set, years of experience and other organizational needs. The estimated range is $51,400-$65,000.
