Description
Performs intermediate technical work assisting in the operations of County parks and grounds, supervising park personnel, opening and closing park facilities, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the general direction of the Park Manager. Limited oversight is exercised over Park Aides, Groundkeepers, and Park Patrol.
Examples of Duties
- Supervises and assists subordinate park personnel involved in the general operations of the park.
- Opens and closes the office and Visitor Center.
- Maintains grounds, facilities, and manages the sanitary facilities.
- Assists the Park Manager in the operation of Castle Rock or Petenwell Park & outlying parks.
- Assists the Park Manager in implementing all park directives, policies, and enforcement of County park ordinances.

Essential Qualifications
High school diploma or GED and moderate experience in parks & recreation, landscaping, management, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Valid driver’s license in the State of Wisconsin.
