The Assistant Principal for Dual Language Programs reports directly to the Chief of Schools and is critical
to ensuring that the district is enabling equitable outcomes for all children. The Assistant Principal for Dual
Language Programs serves as the co-leader of instruction and assists the Principals in inspiring a culture
that supports high levels of learning for all students, elevating equity, culturally relevant instruction/programming
and restorative practices at all times, specifically to the Two-Way Immersion (TWI) Program. The Assistant Principal
for Dual Language Programs upholds the district’s dual language priorities, policies, programs, and practices and is
a key partner to theprincipal, staff, students, TWI parents and families. The Assistant Principal for Dual Language
Programs will provide support to multiple school buildings and all TWI teachers with those designated buildings.
Qualifications:
- Education: A master’s degree in job-related area required.
- Experience: Demonstrated track record of increasing bilingual student achievement, utilizing a
variety of approaches to meet all student’s needs. - Bilingual Endorsement in Spanish. Professional Educators
- Certified Teacher Evaluator.
- General Administrative Endorsement
Salary Range:
$120,000 – $145,000 (Final determination will commesurate with experience and qualifications)
