Salary $90,000-120,000

Assistant Project Manager supporting the Energy Division.
This professional is responsible for project execution of Electrical Distribution program work, and reports to the
Project Manager on program work related to Surge Arrestor. Responsible for field support team assigned under
your designated book of work.

Essential Job Functions:
• Reports to Project Manager on program basket of work such as Central Coast Maintenance (CCM) crews,
Poles, Bid work, Etc.
• Account for daily financial performance of individual basket of work and report to the Project Manager
regarding any impacts/issues/challenges
• Responsible for maintaining schedule, change order management, and direct customer interface regarding
tasked basket of work.
• Coordinate duties of project engineers and project coordinators with project managers and project General
Foreman/Foremen oversight.
• Ensure project engineers and project coordinators have a clear definition of their assigned duties and the
necessary tools and information to do the job.
• Ensure field execution remains aligned with the financial goals set by the Project Manager and serves as action
arm of Project Management team.
• Provides oversight and direction to field crews via line of communication with project General Foreman.
• Assess current work practices for process improvement opportunities.
Requirements:
• BS degree with technical specialty preferred.
• MS degree a plus but not required.
• Prior experience as a Field Engineer, Field Engineer Supervisor or Assistant Project Manager.
