As an Assistant Project Manager, you would be working as part of a team focused on projects that will transform our community. Your internal connections will grow with other HDR employees based in San Francisco and throughout North America. A specific program you will be involved with is a 900,000+ square foot healthcare facility executed in an Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) method. This facility elevates the delivery of healthcare to new heights in innovation, offering premier healthcare services in the San Francisco Bay Area. You will partner with some of the brightest architects, health planners and world-class design talent.

Primary Responsibilities

In the role of Assistant Project Manager, we’ll count on you to:

  • Coordinate work of multidiscipline teams throughout an entire project’s development, while under supervision of a Project Manager
  • Participate in reviews with various governing agencies for code compliance
  • Conduct schematic, design development and contract document work sessions at project site in conjunction with all disciplines
  • Coordinate workload through entire project development and complete documents on schedule
  • Work with the Project Manager, Regional Controller and Department Manager or Managing Principal for project reviews with corporate management as needed
  • Perform other duties as needed

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 5 years experience in the AEC industry
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
  • Fully vaccinated for COVID-19. This position requires onsite client visits, or, this position will be co-located at the client site. The client requires all contractors/consultants/vendors who work or visit the site be fully vaccinated for COVID-19
  • Must have the ability to interact with various design teams, have excellent organizational, project management and communication (both written and verbal) skills

  • Architecture Degree
  • Licensed and Registered Architect
  • OSHPD experience

The expected compensation range for this position is $81,718 – $116,740 annually depending upon skills, experience, education and geographical location.
