Our Design Unit is seeking an experienced and collaborative Assistant Project Manager based out of ourclient’s site in Albany, NY. You’ll be responsible for the construction and rehabilitation projects for various clients. You’ll assist the Construction Project Manager and project team to deliver services that are responsive to the critical needs of our client agencies. You’ll provide effective, skilled project management to help reduce the costs of delivering projects and adding value to the business by applying proven project management techniques. You’ll have an opportunity to work on active projects providing support with RFI tracking, contract document review, forecast and cost scheduling, preparation of change order review and review of payments. Your ability to multi-task and thrive when projects are running on time and within budget is a must to be successful at this role.
• High School diploma
• 6+ years’ experience in construction involving multiple phases of large-scale building/rehabilitation projects with 4+ years of that experience as a Superintendent or Project Engineer responsible for large-scale projects valued above $5 million
• Thorough knowledge of RFI tracking, contract document review, forecast scheduling and costs, preparation of change order review, and the review of payments
• Knowledge of building and fire codes and architectural standards

The base salary range for this position is $50,960 to $104,000. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
