Molina Healthcare is hiring for a REMOTE Associate Project Manager, Quality Improvement.
If you have HEDIS, Quality, NCQA, or related experience and are looking to start your Project Management career, this may be the role for you!
This role will handle project management deliverables for project enhancements and process improvements working with the Quality team and other stakeholders. This role will also work with documentation (agendas, meeting notes, RAID log, project plan creation & updates, status updates), follow up on action items, identify risks, create process diagrams and documentation, working with IT to ensure accuracy of information, facilitate meetings, present status updates, business growth standardization, etc. Will work directly with the other Project Managers on the team and our leaders directly.
Highly qualified candidates will have the following experience:
- In one or more of the following- Project Coordination, Quality, Quality Improvement Specialist, Program Coordinator, HEDIS Measures, NCQA, CAPHS, Value Based Programs
- Jira, SharePoint, MS Project
- Experience putting together a Business Process Plan
- Business Analytic Skills

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- This role assists with the management of internal business projects and programs involving department or cross-functional teams of subject matter experts, delivering completed projects, reports, and presentations. Supports creation of plans and directs schedules as well as project budgets. Monitors the project from inception through delivery. May engage and oversee the work of external vendors. Assigns, directs and monitors system analysis and program staff. These positions’ primary focus is project/program management, rather than the application of expertise in a specialized functional field of knowledge although they may have technical team members.

- Manages all aspects of assigned projects throughout the development project lifecycle including project scope, schedule, resources, quality, costs and change.
- Develops and maintains detailed project plans to include milestones, tasks, and target/actual dates of completion.
- Revises project plans as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
- Supports project managers or management in the planning and monitoring of projects to meet deadline, quality and budget requirements.
- Schedules and conducts project meetings to include logistics, agendas, and meeting minutes.
- Supports production, distribution, and analysis of reports.

REQUIRED EDUCATION: Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- 0 – 1 years of experience
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
- Able to create clear, accurate, complete, and concise reports.
- Able to effectively lead small meeting and capture concise notes and action items.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 1 year of project management or analytics in healthcare.
PREFERRED LICENSE, CERTIFICATION, ASSOCIATION: PMP or Six Sigma Black Belt certification
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Working environment is generally favorable and lighting and temperature are adequate. Work is generally performed in an office environment in which there is only minimal exposure to unpleasant and/or hazardous working conditions. Must have the ability to sit for long periods.
