Lockheed Martin is looking for a talented Systems Engineer – With strong MBSE experience to join the MAVIS team in developing the first rocket to launch from Mars and return a soil sample back to Earth.
As a Systems Engineer/DOORS Next Generation Administrator you will perform the following duties:
• Develop and maintain Doors Next Generation (DNG) schemas and maintain projects including architecture of modules, artifacts objects, schemas, generating and managing the lifecycle (import / export) of templates
• Define and implement requirements management best practices using DNG
• Support DNG users by providing expert knowledge, training, schema design expertise, and administration services to project teams
• Develop processes to generate status and traceability reports, metrics, and documents
• Import documents from various source files, create and populate attributes, create link types and manage access, support integration to other enterprise systems
• Support Requirements and Verification team in other activities as directed
• Support engineering processes with IBM DOORS and DOORS Next Generation (DNG), administering, managing DNG projects, artifacts, modules, attributes, linking, exporting, importing, troubleshooting, use of JavaScript and DNG report generation capabilities using Rational Publishing Engine or Report Builder
Successful candidate typically has a Bachelors degree in a related discipline with 2+ years of related professional experience.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in (Computer Science, Engineering or Physics)
• Two or more years experience developing technical systems using system engineering processes with IBM DOORS and demonstrated experience supporting DOORS Next Generation (DNG)
• Knowledge of Requirements Engineering
• Excellent Communication and team skills
Desired Skills:
• Demonstrated experience supporting engineering development projects
• Knowledge of SysML and MBSE
• Knowledge of Cameo
• Experience with Agile Systems Engineering
• Knowledge of Jira and Confluence
• Experience with integration of DNG to other enterprise commercial off the shelf (COTS) systems such as Cameo No Magic
• Prior experience supporting spacecraft systems engineering teams
• Background in Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering or Systems Architecture

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9×80 every other Friday off

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in Colorado or Washington is $67,400 – $129,300. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of PTO per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO is prorated based on hours worked and start date during the calendar year.
