Job Description
Join our growing team, focused on creative commerce that drives conversion for some of the most recognized brands at renowned retailers.We’re looking for a multi-talented Associate Creative Director who’s passionate, curious, and driven to elevate the work through compelling content that turns shoppers into buyers.
You will partner closely with the Creative Director, copywriter, art director, producer, and project team to ideate, create, and execute conversion-driving content. You will own specific deliverables and projects for a variety of retail executions.
The ACD is expected to show a high level of ownership, creativity, and know-how in creating assets across channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and execute brand toolkits and in-store marketing assets
- Assist in conceptualizing visual work for new brands and assist asset launch across different retailers
- Create large format display ads for stadiums
- Assist in the creation of structure and 3D POP/POS design
- Manage at least one direct report and provide creative direction – consistently pushing ideation and collaborative problem-solving at every step
- Conceptualize and execute 360 campaigns including social media content, email, in-store, point of sale, and more
- Assist Creative Director in creating story-driven presentation decks with ideas and variations of concepts for client meetings and pitches
- Assist Creative Director in leading strategic thinking and brainstorming sessions with copywriters, art directors, and cross-functional team members
- Set high creative standards while developing strategic and unique ideas that translate to specific targeted audiences and business goals
- Be accountable for development of creative work that is consistently high-quality and on-brief
- Communicate and collaborate with clients to gather feedback and negotiate creative direction
- Effectively and persuasively present creative concepts and deliverables to both internal teams and clients
- Design comps, storyboards, key visuals, graphic concepts, and other creative deliverables
- Balance multiple, fast-moving projects at once
- Collaborate effectively with Account Management, Planning and the broader creative team to develop disruptive and iconic work
- Assist with other creative duties as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of experience – agency background or background with national brands preferred
- Ability to concept both traditional and digital designs
- Robust understanding of social media space and influencer marketing
- Excellent storytelling skills – and ability to pitch story-centric ideas
- Ability to stay abreast of creative trends
- Ability to create, enforce, and maintain style and brand guidelines
- Experience in shopper marketing/advertising
- Excellent presentation and client communication skills – ability to negotiate and eloquently provide rationale for creative choices
- Ability to take feedback and promote a collaborative, creative team environment
- Excellent portfolio with 360 campaign work including web, email, video and more
- Solid knowledge of steps required in creative development process: provides guidance to achieve creative direction; gives timely and helpful coaching; and produces all work in a timely, cost-effective manner
- Proven mentoring, supervisory, and team-building skills

Compensation Range: $113K – $115K This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
