Department

  • The Risk, Technology and Operations team is responsible for identifying and managing risks, as well as overseeing and executing operational activities across Moody’s Analytics. Our strategic focus is to drive efficiency and effectiveness throughout the company by enabling standardization of and learning and development, operations, technology and risk. We collaborate with various internal stakeholders such as Sales and Relationship Management, Knowledge Management, Marketing and Product Strategy as well as many other departments to make sure our operations run smoothly and effectively.
  • Business Systems Team owns various operational systems which support the customer lifecycle or lead to cash processes (including Salesforce, Apttus and other platforms ) and supports integrations with teams and platforms like Marketing (e.g. Marketo, etc.), Fulfillment and Finance (e.g. SAP). We create efficiencies across operational processes to consistently modernize the way which we do things. We are also responsible for integrating acquired companies on lead to cash platform as swiftly as possible to enable collaboration across OUs.
  • Data and Analytics group within Business Systems manages data and analytics for Lead to cash processes.

Role/Responsibilities

  • Work with business partners in defining and delivering against data analysis requirements.
  • Help with data modeling inputs in support of building new data integrations and queries
  • Coordinating with various teams for Issue Resolution and Escalation
  • Preparing knowledgebase articles related to Salesforce products (Reporting/Data Management/Data Integrity)
  • Data Management (Data Back-up, Extract, Import, Update, Delete, etc.)
  • Enrichment of existing records, remove duplicates
  • Campaign list uploads, data scrubs, leads, opportunities and territory reassignments
  • Maintain a record of original data and corrected data
  • Resolve all internal data exceptions in timely and accurate manner
  • Create and manage weekly/monthly reports & dashboards in Excel/SFDC
  • Ensure adherence to data quality standards.
  • Evaluate large datasets for quality and accuracy.
  • Build test suites using SQL queries and other DQ tools.
  • Identify, compare, and resolve data quality problems.
  • Help build and maintain Data Governance processes and documents

• *Working hours: The role will be expected to work during EST hours, and the person can be anywhere in United States though preference would give people residing within commuting distance of 7 WTC so they can visit office at least a few times a month.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, Business, Finance or related fields.
  • 2-3 years of working experience.
  • Hands-on expertise in data management tool(s). We use Data Loader, DBAmp, SOQL, SQL Server, Alteryx, MS Access and other tools.
  • Aware of Data Warehousing concepts, Data modelling, Governance and Data Integrity Rules
  • Proficient in MS office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and other data analysis tools. Proficient in Data Analysis features of Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication, listening, and influencing skills.

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $76,200 to $99,000, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation. Moody’s also offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, a discounted employee stock purchase plan, and tuition reimbursement.
