Associate Director, US Corporate Communications

YOUR ROLE AT DOMPÉ

We are looking for a motivated and driven individual for the Associate Director, US Corporate Communications to join our Corporate Communication Team. The role will be located at the Dompe US headquarters in San Mateo, and will report directly to the Public Affairs and Corporate Communications Head at Dompe headquarters in Milan, Italy.

The individual will coordinate with the US team and external publications and agencies to deploy Dompé’s Communication plan by helping to create great content to be shared through the Company’s internal channels, websites and social networks, industry and mainstream media.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING: MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
• Define US communication strategy, coherently with the overall company communication plan
• Execution of the US Communication plan in the assigned area of accountability, in line with mission, vision and corporate objectives
• Work closely with others in the Corporate Communications department to develop messaging, press releases, contributed articles, event strategy and media relations strategy for announcements and/or corporate marketing campaigns.
• Seek new methods and creative strategies to increase internal and external awareness of key events and other topics of interest.
• Tracking of KPI and awareness of Communication initiatives
• Coordination with External Agencies and Suppliers

YOU COULD BE THE PERFECT FIT IF YOU HAVE:

    • Degree in Marketing, Communication or related fields
    • Strong written and oral communications with fluency in English, Italian is a plus
    • Experience: 6-8+ years in Corporate Communication in structured Companies and/or Agencies
    • Content creation for websites and social networks (LinkedIn, Facebook); Social media analytics; Digital Campaign management; Webinar organization; media relations; Copy writing and editing.

SKILLS YOU’LL NEED FOR SUCCESS: TECHNICAL

    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills – published samples will be requested.
    • Experience building and maintains a social media presence
    • Knowledge of analytical and technical skills as well as of trends.

LOCATION AND TRAVEL:

    • This position is an office based in San Mateo, with at least 3 days in the US headquarters. Additionally, there will be a travel requirement including flight travel, up to 30% of the time to global headquarters in Milan, Italy.

$175,000 – $210,000 a year

At Dompe, we offer an attractive compensation package to our team members. Any offer would include a competitive base salary (estimate shared above), incentive bonus, and benefits package customary to the position. Actual individual pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
