Summary of Position
The Human Resources Generalist will report to the Human Resources Manager and will assist with a variety of duties within the department. This may include recruiting related activities, payroll, benefit enrollment, coordinating events, administrative tasks, and other duties as assigned. The role interfaces with all levels of employees and approaches deliverables with a customer focus and team approach.
Salary: $55,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year (Base Salary to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, sills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.)

Duties and responsibilities
- Assists with recruiting including updating job descriptions and posting job openings in ADP and other selected sites. Work with Hiring Managers to schedule interviews. Prepare Offer Letters and initiate and monitor Background Checks and Drug Screens. Communicate with candidates on establishing start date.
- Assist with onboarding new employees by preparing documents for New Hire Orientation and Safety Onboarding and managing new hire paperwork, completing I-9 forms, and verifying accuracy of data that they will enter ADP HRIS system.
- Assists with payroll processing checking employee time sheets, verifying vacation and sick time accrual and time used.
- Verify, maintain, and manage all employee documentation related to Employee Status Changes, New Hires, Promotions, Salary Adjustments, and Terminations
- Manage and maintain Employee Files making sure all files are complete and compliant
- Support for HR Manager for any other human resources tasks/responsibilities
- Participate in other HR-related projects and perform other duties as assigned
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree, in HR, a plus
- 1-2 years of HR/Payroll experience
- ADP experience, a plus
- Proficient at MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with Employment Law
- Ability to build rapport with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to discern and maintain confidentiality
- Customer-service oriented.
