Associate Interior Designer:
We are seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our team. As an Interior Designer at Collective Design, you will play a pivotal role in conceptualizing, developing, and executing design projects that reflect our clients’ visions while adhering to our high standards of design excellence. You will work closely with clients, project managers, and other team members to ensure the successful execution of each project from inception to completion. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Designer to showcase their creativity and contribute to transforming spaces and creating beautiful interiors that enhance the lives of our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Support Lead Designer with all aspects of projects.
- Collaborate on developing and presenting design concepts, translating ideas into conceptual presentations and compelling narratives that effectively communicate design ideas.
- Create detailed design plans, including space layouts, furniture selections, material specifications, and color schemes tailored to each project’s unique character.
- Source and select furnishings, fixtures, finishes, and accessories that align with the project’s design concept and aspirations of the clients.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
- Prepare and organize information for purchasing and order processing.
- Stay at the forefront of industry trends and innovative design techniques.
Requirements:
- Experience in the entire design process lifecycle with residential projects.
- Proficient in demonstrating creative and artistic proficiency.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong CAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office skills.
- Effective sales and negotiation skills when engaging with clients and vendors.
- Extensive knowledge of design principles, aesthetics, space planning, furnishings and finishes, material selection, and lighting design principles.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey design concepts to clients and team members.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Must love working and succeeding in a fast-paced work environment with the ability to adapt quickly.
- Ability to collaborate with other team members including other designers, management, clients, and vendors.
- Have a valid Driver’s License and reliable vehicle capable of handling the mountain weather without issues. Reliable transportation is necessary to get to and from our office in Frisco, Colorado and to job sites in and outside of Summit County.
- The ability to lift and mobilize small to medium items and boxes up to 50 lbs.

Salary ranges from $62,000 – $72,000 annually based on experience and skill level. Applicants should be able to reliably commute to or plan to relocate to Summit County before starting work. This is not a remote position.
