Boeing Global Services is currently seeking an Associate-Level Configuration Management Engineer to become part of the Training Systems Warfighter program team in Hazelwood, Missouri.

As part of our team, you will be focused on configuration management ensuring engineering changes are documented and managed throughout the development life cycle. You will be a part of an organization that provides industry leadership in commercial and defense aviation training and capabilities, including custom software development, engineering and technical services, and a range of services to support training centers and pilot provisioning worldwide.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Define, plan, coordinate and conduct a comprehensive set of product and subsystem level reviews, change boards, and audits to manage change incorporation.
  • Support the definition and allocation of Configuration Management requirements for product hardware, software and engineering design data systems throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Track and report data to monitor adherence to regulatory, configuration and contractual requirements.
  • Support development of media, Software product end items, and other baseline deliverables to the Customer.
  • Understand, support, and apply agile principles, practices, and processes.
  • Work within a matrix organization.
  • Act as a custodian for classified material.

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Hybrid:

This Hybrid position allows some telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options Hazelwood, MO. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
  • 1+ years’ experience working in systems engineering.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with software configuration management tools such as ClearCase/ClearQuest, GIT, Teamcenter.
  • 1+ years’ experience in DevSecOps & Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery.
  • 1+ years’ experience in configuration management or systems engineering.
  • Active U.S. Security Clearance in the past 24 months.

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Associate-Level Summary pay range: $73,950 – $100,050
