The Government Vehicle Health Management Systems (GVHMS) Team is looking for a motivated software verification engineer with experience in testing and validating software for the MQ-25 Stingray Automated Logistics Environment (S-ALE). The S-ALE software acquires and manages aircraft health and usage data, performs health and usage assessment, updates aircraft configuration and recommends maintenance actions. S-ALE acts as a “one stop shop” for the aircraft from flight debrief to completion of maintenance actions. The team is looking for a dedicated test engineer to work with our internal test and software teams to validate the functionality and quality of S-ALE and other GVHMS software products. This position will be responsible for planning and executing the testing effort for the MQ-25 S-ALE product.
This position also offers the opportunity to test similar health management systems for other aircraft platforms including F-18, F-15, and T-7A.
Position Responsibilities:
- Plan and lead a test cycle
- Develop new test cases based on program requirements
- Create and execute a test plan
- Experience in AzureDevOps (ADO) to track test cases and results
- Write up software bugs with appropriate information for analysis (environment information, data logs, etc.)
- Communicate with multifunctional skill teams including software engineers, systems engineers, and hardware engineers
Security Clearance:
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Secret Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. secret clearance Post Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry, or other relevant technical field. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
- 1+ years of experience with testing hardware, software and systems to achieve test requirements
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Automated testing through Ranorex
- Experience with Software Testing or Software Verification
- Experience with both formal software deliveries and engineering builds
- Experience do you have with fighter aircraft software products and processes
Typical Education/ Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
Relocation:
Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
Hybrid/Telecommute:
This Hybrid position allows some telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. (St. Louis, MO.)

Summary pay range: $79,050 – $123,500
