Job Description
The Associate Manager, Integrated Marketing Strategy, is a key member of the team that develops and champions marketing plans to drive attendance and revenue for Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal CityWalk.
Responsibilities
- Develop consumer-facing marketing plans supporting Universal attractions and events and Universal CityWalk that deliver annual attendance and revenue goals
- Use primary and secondary research to identify target audience characteristics (demographics, motivations, and barriers) as foundation for planning
- Present clear recommendations to management for approval and implementation
- Subject matter expert with keen knowledge of attractions, events and CityWalk details with proactive and reactive cross-functional communication
- Effectively liaise between Operations and internal partners in the execution of marketing tactics
- Influence and direct cross-functional teams to meet key deliverables on-time and with flawless excellence across all touch points
- Conduct and present post-marketing program analyses
- Enter team projects into Work-Front project management system
- Southern California theme park and Los Angeles entertainment expert
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
- 3+ years marketing experience required; experience in retail, food service, entertainment, travel, or theme park industry preferred
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Ability to meet deadlines with a sense of urgency
- Demonstrated ability to manage a large volume of complex work, effectively and efficiently
- Track record of meeting targets and objectives
- Experience in agile marketing or agile project management preferred
- Excellent communication (verbal and written)
- Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
- Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week
