Summary
Your role in our mission
Essential Job Functions
- Assists in developing, writing, designing and editing of basic material for manuals, catalogs, instruction books, brochures, promotions, data sheets, advertisements and direct mail campaigns.
- Proofreads, and edits magazines to meet business needs.
- Assists in coordinating activities concerned with routine contract type setting, illustrating and printing services to meet business needs.
- Uses computer-based tools, including electronic publishing software, to lay out and type set routine aspects of journal content to conform to quality standards. Assists in developing tests for identifying and tracking problems associated with integration and use of electronic publishing software.
- Reviews published materials and recommends revisions and/or changes in order to meet quality standards.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism or related field preferred
- Zero or more years of writing, editorial or publishing experience
- Experience working with word processing and electronic publishing software
- Experience working with industry writing style such as grammar, sentence form, and structure
- Experience working with publishing processes and procedures
Other Qualifications
- Communication skills for interacting with personnel
- Personal computer and business solutions software skills
- Proofreading and editing skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

The pay range for this position is $44,200.00 – $63,100.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
