Role: Associate Project Manager
Work experience required: 8 – 10yrs
Required Skills:
- Experience in healthcare domain (7 Years Minimum)
- Experience in assisting with resource and financial updates in Planview, draft project documents for PM review.
- Experience in Project Managerial administrative duties such as setting up meetings and taking notes.
- Experienced in managing risks with issue and decision follow-up.
- Experience managing a small workstream within a project or program.
- Strong Analytical, problem-solving, presentation skills and ability to work with minimal guidance.
- Excellent communication skills and participates actively in team meetings discussion.
- Be ready to work in PST time zone client delivery from anywhere in US or Canada
Desired Skills:
- Hands-on knowledge in Healthcare Medi-CAL ( California’s Medicaid health care program)
- Experience and understanding of both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
Responsibilities:
- PM support role that includes administrative duties such as setting up meetings and taking notes, assisting PM to manage risks with issue and decision follow-up.
- Manage a small workstream within a project or program.
- Assist with resource and financial updates in Planview and draft project documents for PM review.
- Document requirements into JIRA stories covering all aspects.
- Fosters a culture of continuous improvement in all areas of technology and instills the principles of this culture in a team.
- Provides detailed and timely status updates to management.
- Acts as a highly competent advisor to their manager, leads and team.
Salary and Other Compensation :
The annual salary for this position is between $80K to $105K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
