Associate Provider Account Manager

Description

Join our Provider Account Management team to assist network operations for key accounts in our reproductive endocrinology and reproductive urology network across the United States. You will be responsible for developing ongoing, professional and effective touch points with all active providers across Progyny’s network with focus on a high level of customer service. We value teamwork in all areas of business and collaboration is key in this position.

What you’ll be doing…

  • Assist in negotiating contract terms, both financial and operational, with providers to ensure economic terms are market competitive and promotes a positive member and client experience
  • Manage ancillary and genetics lab relationships with key account partners
  • QA implementation of signed contracts to ensure proper provider setup
  • Maintain and amend provider contracts as needed based on client benefit changes
  • Establish trusting relationships with business managers and key decision makers, as well as clinical leadership
  • Investigates and implements new processes for practices and Progyny to promote timely filing and claims payments
  • Create single case agreements/letters of agreement to contract individual services for members
  • Manage escalated cases across assigned territory to ensure member and provider receive timely, satisfactory resolution
  • Prospect and develop key senior level fertility clinic relationships in the region, including, but not limited to:
    • Assist in the development of service agreements and reimbursement schedules with a thorough understanding of Progyny’s suite of clinical fertility offerings
    • Contributes in recruiting necessary non-participating providers into the Progyny network based on nationally reported outcomes data
    • Vet physicians and clinics to confirm they are meeting or exceeding Progyny network expectations
  • Extensive administrative duties (tracking and upkeep of provider accounts, credentialing, special projects, etc.)
  • Work with Analytics and Provider Relations teams to ensure clinical outcomes are reported on a regular basis to key clinic leaders
  • Work closely with Progyny’s employer services and marketing groups to execute on key network management goals and metrics, and provide input from customers on service delivery solutions
  • Educate and onboard practices with a comprehensive overview of the Progyny model to include member intake, benefit overview, billing, reimbursement and reporting
  • Serve as an authority, speaker and representative of Progyny with key customers and partners (e.g. conferences, physician offices, employer customers, etc.)

About you

  • 1+ years’ experience in the fertility space (knowledge of reproductive endocrinology and infertility (REI) and/or reproductive urology)
    • For example, current team experience includes former specialty pharmacy (fertility) management, fertility nursing, fertility clinic management, health plan management and fertility clinic business consulting
  • Focused on creating solutions before reporting problems.
  • Extremely organized and detail oriented.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple deadlines.
  • Self-motivated and focused on ensuring that projects are completed accurately. Ensures all work is thorough and client ready.
  • Experience in MS Office suite of services (pivot tables always appreciated) and CRM Systems.
  • Ability to comprehend complex systems with an ability to deliver effective, simplified communications.
  • Focus on driving results to ensure your team has confidence in your ability to grow.
  • Ability to adjust to a growing, fast-paced role that will require you to think on your feet and take on a variety of duties that might not necessarily align with your job description.
  • Can prioritize shifting needs throughout the quarter and adjust to new projects as they are presented.
  • Undergraduate degree.
  • Ability for occasional air travel.

In compliance with New York City’s Wage Transparency Law, the annual salary for NYC-based applicants is: $50,000 – $60,000. Progyny offers a total compensation package comprised of base salary, cash bonus, and equity.
