This position is a member of the Accounting & Controllership – Statutory Accounting and Reporting Divisition. The main focus of this role will be the state filing co-ordination lead.
Responsibilities
- State Filing: Manage the Statement Contact inbox and send correspondence to regulators, as required
- Track and monitor the annual 3/1, 4/1 and 5/1 State specific filing process
- Manage certain Bluebook Schedules that require no financial reporting expertise (example – Jurat pages, Schedule Y)
- Filings: Portal filings (Canadian and NAIC), formal filings to the States, emailing the third parties that require our Bluebooks
- System Security Management: Wdesk roles, Wings
- Bill Payments: Payments to states and regulators
- Business Resiliency and Disaster Recovery
- Upload quarterly/year-end statements to Corporate Website (Aprimo)
- Manage LAN files: Quarterly files maintenance/establish and maintain infrastructure
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Highly organized
- Strong communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with Wings, Aprimo a plus
Salary range: $58,500-$85,000
Overtime eligible: Exempt
Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes
Sales bonus eligible: No
