Overview
Work with the Design team to develop print and pattern for a season and assist with executing prints that are competitive and brand aesthetic. Provide technical expertise in CAD design.
Job Responsibilities
Core Accountabilities:
- Works with the CAD and Design teams to help create original prints as well as modify bought artwork from print vendors or vintage.
- Prepares artwork for production. Creates pitch sheets, and uploads CADs, and all other relevant information to vendors.
- Creates and maintains the accuracy of each season’s CADs to the system, for use in line sheets, pattern libraries, and by cross-functional teams throughout the development process.
- Matches color palettes to a printer, recolors prints, and matches Pantone colors. Helps perform design and trend research when necessary.
- Supports print production for Wholesale and Licensing teams.
- Maintains strong knowledge of current print trends and historical print history through constant research and self-education.
- Executes deliverables within seasonal calendar deadlines.

Qualifications
Education/Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Textile Design or related field
- 1-4 years of professional experience in apparel textile design
- Experience with Pointcarré, or any Weave software is a plus.
- Strong knowledge and experience with Adobe Creative Suite and relevant textile software
- Computer experience with both MAC and Windows platforms – Understanding of file naming conventions and standards on file servers.
- Must have an exceptional eye for color and color matching.
- Demonstrated understanding of the apparel and textiles market
- Ability to implement creative ideas and follow directions.
- Ability to draw or paint.
- Team player with a positive attitude

- While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to talk or hear. The associate is frequently required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; as well as reach with hands and arms.
- The associate must frequently lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Ability to work in an open environment with fluctuating temperatures and standard lighting.
- Ability to work on the computer and mobile phone for multiple hours, with frequent interruptions.
- Required to travel in elevators or stairwells to attend meetings and engage with associates on multiple floors throughout the building.
- Hotel, Airplane, and Car Travel Required.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. As an International Retailer, occasional evening and/or weekend work may be required during periods of high volume. This role operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment.

The salary (range) for this position is $65,478 – $70,000 (annually). Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to position offered and work experience.
