This position primarily involves a hybrid work schedule – working remotely: Monday & Friday / on site: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Under certain circumstances, will consider a remote option.
The New Business Auditor is a client-facing role that is responsible for billing system quality review, partnering with internal and external stakeholders to host client education training calls and conduct premium validations and audits based on demand of current inventory.
Responsibilities
- Ensures the client payment system is setup accurately by completing a detailed comparison of sales documents and applicable billing systems.
- Partners with internal and external stakeholders to provide in-depth training in the review of self-administration guidelines including delinquency process, remittance method, payment options/address, and premium calculations.
- Completes New Business audits while following established audit schedules and procedures. Partners with internal and external business partners to correct identified errors.
- Conduct post audit review of cumulative client errors to identify trends and recommend process improvements to reduce error rate.
- Provides timely and accurate responses to phone and email inquiries from internal and external business partners.
- Complies with departmental policies regarding ethical and proper use of company equipment, including internet access, email, and phone usage.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or other related field preferred.
- Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong focus on Service Excellence when partnering with internal and external business partners.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, control procedures and audit standards, practices, and techniques.
- Ability to multi-task and work with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong computer skills including, but not limited to, MS Excel spreadsheet manipulation and MS Access data input.
