Job Summary:
Prepare aircraft interior and structural parts using autoclave to heat and pressure treat parts.
Summary of Duties:
• Load, connect and run autoclave using manual and computerized controls.
• Prioritize and organized loads for maximum autoclave usage.
• Performs visual and manual integrity check of all wire connections.
• Pushes racks of aerospace inside autoclave and clamps door shut.
• Observes gauges and pneumatic controller graphs to ascertain that specified pressure, temperature, and vacuum are maintained to ensure conditioning of yarn according to specifications and to prevent collapse of autoclave.
• Closes valves and starts vacuum pump to remove moisture at end of steaming chamber.
• Opens door and removes processed parts from autoclave to storage.
• Prioritize tool turns.
• Adhere to detailed company specifications, work instructions, engineering prints and work orders.
• Document the materials used in the process to maintain traceability.
• Troubleshoot basic issues.

o Must carefully handle raw material and manufactured parts to ensure the integrity and quality is not compromised by handling.
o Must have flexibility to work a varied work schedule when needed.

o As business conditions change it is necessary that all employees productively react and handle other essential tasks as assigned now or in the future.
o Tasks may vary slightly based on products produced at division.
Travel specifictity
Qualifications:
Education: High School diploma or G.E.D. certificate.
Experience: 1 (one) year stable work history preferred.
Knowledge of bagging, layup and assembly in aerospace industry preferred.
Computer Skills: Basic familiarity with computers.
Other Skills: Ability to communicate verbally as well as read and write in English.
Physical: Strength and ability to perform moderate to heavy manual labor including frequent bending, walking and heavy lifting.
Forklift: Ability to become trained in forklift operation; previous experience a plus.
