The Data Platform team at Mailchimp is responsible for creating and managing our BI platform that enables peeps from across the company to make better decisions with data. As a member of the Infra & Tooling group, you’ll help build and support the data platform foundation that our analytical and data science teams use everyday. You’ll work with our Data Products group to make sure they have scalable pipeline solutions as well as other departments to provide the core data capabilities to leverage data throughout Mailchimp. You’ll also support some of our most critical core pipelines to ensure Mailchimp user data can be used effectively.
Intuit Mailchimp is a , giving employees the opportunity to collaborate in person with team members in our Atlanta and Brooklyn offices two or more days per week.
Qualifications
- You have coding experience in Python, Go, or other languages that can be demonstrated through a portfolio of code
- You have experience with GCP/AWS or other cloud environments
- You have experience with ETL orchestration tools like Apache Airflow
- You have experience building streaming jobs using Google Dataflow
- You have SQL and data analysis skills
- Experience with MPP databases such as BigQuery, Redshift, or Snowflake. We use BigQuery here at Mailchimp
- Expertise in visualization technologies like Looker, Tableau, or Qlik Sense
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers, analysts, and engineers to create, deliver, and maintain end-to-end platform solutions
- Build and help support robust batch and streaming pipelines
- Build tools and processes to help make the right data accessible to the right people
- Work with Data Stewards to ensure we govern data responsibly
Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is NY $120,775 – $163,401. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at .
