Project Manager – Cyber Monitoring & Operations (CMO)

Responsibilities

Peraton is looking for a Project Manager to support the Cyber Monitoring & Operations Front Office to become part of Peraton’s Department of State (DoS) Diplomatic Security Cyber Mission (DSCM) program providing leading cyber and technology security experience to enable innovative, effective and secure business processes. Peraton’s DSCM program encompasses technical, engineering, data analytics, cyber security, management, operational, logistical and administrative support to aid and advise DoS Cyber & Technology Security (CTS) Directorate. This includes protecting a global cyber infrastructure comprising networks, systems, information, and mobile devices all while identifying and responding to cyber risks and threats. Those supporting Peraton’s DSCM program strive to leverage their expert knowledge and propose creative solutions to real-world cybersecurity challenges.

The Project Manager role will be based in Rosslyn, VA with travel to Beltsville, MD.

What you’ll do:

  • Oversee team providing computer security monitoring capabilities, security alerting, event management, and data archival.
  • Lead technical analysis teams responsible for identifying vulnerabilities and configuration issues.
  • Brief Govt leadership and provide courses of action for significant network and system changes, improving monitoring capabilities and computer security.
  • Conduct intelligence, computer security, and threat analysis using open sources and Intelligence Community (IC) information.
  • Provide computer security analysis expertise in response to threats.
  • Direct network changes to instantly mitigate attacks causing network degradation.

Qualifications

Basic QualificationsTo be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 12 years’ experience required. An additional 4 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
  • Active Top Secret security clearance required.
  • CISSP certification required or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
  • Clear track record of having led and directed project team(s)
  • Demonstrated experience in intelligence, computer security, or technical analysis with increasing responsibilities
  • Demonstrated experience in network security with a focus on cyber threat analysis and advanced network security analysis.
  • Technical task management and supervisory experience.

Range for Posting

Salary Minimum: $77,500
Salary Mid: $155,000
Salary Maximum: $193,800

The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position, and is just one component of Peraton’s total compensation package for employees.
