Student Programs Coordinator

About This Role:

Under the supervision of the Director of the Center for Student Success and Professional Services, the Student Programs Coordinator for Transfer Student Success is responsible for the development, coordination, and delivery of transfer initiatives. The Student Programs Coordinator for Transfer Student Success will provide comprehensive, wrap-around, services for the recruitment, admission, and matriculation of transfer students. Extensive travel to regional community colleges on a regular basis is required.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Extensive knowledge of university, college, and departmental policies and procedures
  • Experience in degree analysis
  • Experience with planning and executing programs targeted toward recruitment, retention, and student success
  • Experience in working with diverse student populations
  • Experience in using student information computer systems and degree audits
  • Experience in thinking critically to solve problems independently and as part of a group
  • Experience in using Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
  • Experience in using database programs.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining effective professional working relationships
  • Evidence of effective communication skills
  • Willingness to work some hours outside the normal workday, including some weekends

Anticipated Hiring Pay Range:

$41,388 – $42,000
