Job Summary
The Assistant Golf Professional assists with the management of daily golf operations, including tracking and managing play, greeting and assisting guests, scheduling and organizing tournaments, teaching lessons, managing inventory and overseeing the cart fleet maintenance. Duties may also include merchandising, supervision of the Guest Services Staff, and assisting the Director of Golf with budgeting and other duties as necessary. This position is critical to the delivery of world class service and it is the responsibility of staff members to be friendly, courteous and helpful under all circumstances. Our season is May-October.

Expected Pay Range: $24 – $30 / hour

Skill Level: Intermediate – Advanced
Job Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older – required
- Able to communicate effectively and professionally in English – required
- PGA Membership Level 2 – required
- Previous guest service experience and excellent guest service skills – required
- Golf experience- Rules of Golf, Merchandising, Tournament Execution – required
- Willingness to learn and to teach lessons – required
- Microsoft Office proficiency – required
- Able to work outside in all weather conditions – required
- Able to work weekends, holidays, and long hours – required
- Able to work the entire season – required
- Able to lift heavy items, weighing up to 50 pounds, such as two fully equipped golf bags, large boxes or trash/recycling – required
- Resume – required
- Able to come for an in-person interview – required
- Experience with point of sale system – preferred
- Experience with tee time reservations and management – preferred
- Experience with inventory and cart fleet management – preferred
- A four year college degree – preferred
The expected pay range is $24.00 – $30.00. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
