We are looking for Automotive Technicians to join our team as Dismantlers.
Dismantling vehicles / Drive train Components
Testing mechanical components
Tagging parts for shipping
Cutting vehicles with saws
Requirements:
- Wide range of Air and Hand Tools required
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must be able to read spreadsheet for required parts to be pulled
- Experienced and knowledgeable of automobiles and parts is preferred
- Forklift experience preferred
- Hands on position & must be able to lift up to 100 pounds
- Motivated and fast paced
Multi tasking, good decision maker, goal oriented - Must be able to work independently and accurately
Must be dependable with excellent attendance history
Job Requirements:
Experience: Must have hands-on automotive repair experience.
Education: High school diploma or G.E.D preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Must have a basic understanding of the function of each part of a vehicle. Must use hand tools, air tools, and torches.
Essential Physical Demands/Work Environment: Sits, stands, bends, and moves intermittently. Subject to intense physical labor and repetitive lifting. Must be able to lift at least 75lbs. Must be able to work outside in various types of weather. Works with hydraulic oils, motor oils, antifreeze, and diesel fuels.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, as well as an office environment. The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme cold and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is moderately loud. Should not have any lifting restrictions and must not be afraid of heights. Should be able to tolerate high and low temperature levels and occasional inclement driving conditions.
