Overview
Enterprise Holdings has an exciting opportunity for an Automotive Maintenance Technician. This position is located at our Service Center – 7001 Essington Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19153. The Maintenance Technician performs car service, repair, preventive maintenance, in-fleeting service, and vehicle reconditioning service according to company policy and procedures. Minimal customer interaction involved!
This is an entry level position that will enable you to increase your pay $2.00 in less than 90 days, once you obtain your PA State Inspection and Emission. We will pay for you to obtain both of these certifications!
We offer hourly pay – we are not a flat rate shop, get paid for the time you work. The starting pay is $18.50 / hour. We provide training and development that help you acquire your PA Safety and Emissions as well as ASE certification training to increase your knowledge and pay.

Responsibilities
- Ensure that all repairs and preventative maintenance are completed according to the manufacturers specifications and guidelines.
- Complete required manufacturer’s training and perform warranty and recall repairs.
- Complete ADA installs as required upon completion of training.
- Maintain vehicle repair history by documenting a Repair Order to accurately reflect steps taken and part(s) used during the repair.
- Provide safe and reliable vehicles upon completion of repairs and preventative maintenance.
- Comply with part and inventory tracking procedures.
- Utilize multiple manufacturers’ websites, software and diagnostic tools.
- May process new fleet, LOFR, tires, fuel reclamation or buy-backs.
- Maintain the work area in a safe and clean condition.
- Requires ability to perform manual labor, such as, bending, kneeling, crouching, lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods of time.
- Limited to light physical effort is required including the handling of average-weight objects (up to 35 pounds)
- Perform related duties as required.

Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have PA State Inspection and Emissions license OR be willing to obtain within 90 days of employment.
- Must have 6 months of either automotive technical experience and/or currently enrolled in an automotive program with 6 months completed.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to complete a pre-employment drug test and will be subject to random drug and alcohol testing.
