Overview
Enterprise Holdings has an exciting opportunity for an Automotive Technician at our service center in Lanham, MD. The Automotive Technician performs car service, preventive maintenance, in-fleeting service, and vehicle reconditioning service on a fleet of late model rental vehicles- no customer interaction involved!
This position offers up to $40 / hour!
Minimum starting pay of $29 / hour (not flat rate, with 4 ASEs) + $2.00/hour for MD State Inspection (preferred) + an additional $1.50/hour for additional ASE certifications (after 4 up to 10).

Auto Techs will also receive $600 annual tool allowance.
This position is located at our Service Center at 7710 Annapolis Rd, Lanham, MD 20706.
The schedule is Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. NO WEEKENDS!

Responsibilities
- Ensure that all repairs and preventative maintenance are completed according to the manufacturers specifications and guidelines.
- Complete required manufacturer’s training and perform warranty and recall repairs.
- Complete ADA installs as required upon completion of training.
- Maintain vehicle repair history by documenting a Repair Order to accurately reflect steps taken and part(s) used during the repair.
- Provide safe and reliable vehicles upon completion of repairs and preventative maintenance.
- Comply with part and inventory tracking procedures.
- Utilize multiple manufacturers’ websites, software and diagnostic tools.
- May process new fleet, LOFR, tires, fuel reclamation or buy-backs.
- Maintain the work area in a safe and clean condition.
- Requires ability to perform manual labor, such as, bending, kneeling, crouching, lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods of time.
- Moderate physical activity which requires handling of objects up to 50 pounds with long periods of standing and walking.
- Perform related duties as required.

Qualifications
- Must have one of the following:
- Two years of automotive repair training at an accredited technical / trade school OR
- A minimum of one year of repair experience in an automotive repair shop servicing current model vehicles
- At least four (4) ASE Recognized Certifications (A1-A8, L1 or L3)
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
- Must have a valid US driver’s license for a minimum of 1 year
- Must be able to complete a pre-employment drug test and will be subject to random drug and alcohol testing
- Must have satisfactory background check inclusive of driving (no more than 2 moving violations and/or at fault accidents in the past 3 years, and no DUI or DWI on driving record in the last 3 years) employment reference, education and social security.
