Automotive Title / Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Clerk
Our company has an outstanding opportunity for a results-focused, highly driven and experienced Title/AP & AR Clerk to join our team. The purpose of the Title/AP & AR Clerk is to process titles and registrations, process car deals by verifying completeness of documentation, and perform various accounting duties related to payables and receivables.
Job Responsibilities
- Process tag and title work (In-State & Out-of-State) accurately.
- Utilize TitleTec as applicable.
- Communicate any title issues with management and/or customers immediately to get resolved.
- Prepare DMV drops as necessary.
- Track and maintain title book including documenting title numbers and state in DealerTrack.
- Stock in used vehicles and make deal jackets.
- Prepare dealer trade paperwork and payment.
- Stock in dealer trade vehicles and make deal jackets.
- Prepare wholesale paperwork and titles.
- Maintain wholesale receivables to ensure payments are received in a timely manner.
- Print A/R statements monthly for Kia and Chevy and mail out.
- Communicate with customers/vendors on outstanding A/Rs and supply additional information when needed.
- Assist in maintenance of dealer tags and log when needed.
- Process lien payoffs for funded deals.
- Receipt incoming payments.
- Post payable invoices, reconcile statements and pay accordingly.
- Reconcile purchase orders and pay accordingly.
- Assist in preparation of gas ticket spreadsheet monthly.
- Prepare deposit and take to bank daily.
- Perform general office duties as needed, i.e. filing, faxing, ect.
- All other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Education and/or Experience
- High School Diploma or General Education Diploma; and six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
