AVP, Chubb Studio Sales Engineer

The Sales Engineer in the Global Chubb Studio team will work alongside the business development regional teams to feature how Chubb Studio capabilities expedite the integration of insurance products into the sales and service flows of our digital affinity partners.

This role will be responsible for closing sales, where technical expertise is necessary to meet a partner’s requirements and entails maintaining an extensive knowledge of Chubb Studio including digital products, digital claims, campaign configuration, technology and payments options, revenue maximization tools, insights dashboards, trust, security, policy administration and other related differentiating capabilities and processes Chubb offers to partners.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with prospective partners to understand their situation, business challenges and recommend technical solutions.
  • Participate in the RFP/RFI process to ensure accurate responses to technical requirements.
  • Storyboard and deliver technical presentations and demonstrations to showcase Chubb Studio’s capabilities.
  • Establish proof of concept (POCs) to identify, evaluate and develop a risk mitigation plan.
  • Develop custom solutions to meet partner needs and contribute to product roadmaps.
  • Collaborate with partner delivery, product management and platform engineering teams to deliver successful projects.
  • Train partners on product use and provide technical support during the technical sales, onboarding, and implementation process.
  • Attend fintech, e-commerce, mobility events and other conferences to build relationships and generate leads.

Qualifications

  • Ability to highlight technical value proposition to non-technical audiences.
  • Superior communication and presentation skills.
  • Understanding of enterprise software applications, platforms, software development process and programming languages (NodeJs, .Net).
  • Solid project management and prior experience working with account executives and/or regional sales managers on pre-sales discovery, technical assistance, product demos, etc.
  • Relationship building, confidence, active listening combined with an ability to take initiative and work independently.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with CRM systems.
  • Experience working hands-on with SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS.

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in technical sales or sales engineering.

Travel: up to 50%, including international

In Jersey City, NJ the pay range for the role is $106,000 to $176,000. The specific offer will depend on an applicant’s skills and other factors. This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program.
