Compensation Overview

The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.

$124,700.00 – $205,800.00

What Is the Opportunity?

This position in Select Accounts (Business Insurance) will lead the product and portfolio management for the Auto line of business. This role is responsible for the overall countrywide P&L of the total line of business through the creation and implementation of business strategies, coordinating and collaborating across Small Commercial and Business Insurance to drive execution. This role will partner closely with the actuarial and A&R teams within Small Commercial and Business Insurance to continue to rollout and enhance the TCAP product in market as well as work closely with the Small Commercial regional Product Management and Underwriting teams strategies for the line. This position is also critical in the ongoing development of Select Product Management capabilities, including product insight, talent development, and enhancement of a culture aimed at rewarding innovative behaviors that influence regional execution.

What Will You Do?

  • Oversight of multiple Product Management teams that work in a collaborative relationship across the enterprise.
  • Partner across Small Commercial and Business Insurance to drive countrywide strategies aimed at maximizing growth and profit.
  • Partner with peers to lead day to day priorities within Select Product Management organization.
  • Leadership role on line of business teams that ensure countrywide strategies align with BI strategies on a line of business.
  • Effectively communicate financial results and impact of strategy to senior management.
  • Articulate and drive behaviors and actions throughout Select Product Management.
  • Drive new strategy considerations through encouragement of innovative ideas aimed at local and countrywide impact.
  • Leading others to develop strong working relationships with business partners including the BI Product organization, claim, reserving, A&R, actuarial, etc.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, mathematics, management information, finance, actuarial science, economics or other analytics related field preferred.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • 6 years product management experience preferred.
  • Thorough P&C industry knowledge.
  • Experience in senior level “general management” functions.
  • Typically has in depth knowledge/experience in one Commercial product line.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Pricing and Actuarial techniques.
  • Ability to Build, Motivate, and Develop Team Members Collectively and Individually.
  • Strong Analytical Ability.
  • Problem Solving Skills.
  • Ability to build strong business relationships with business partners and across the enterprise.

What is a Must Have?

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Four years of experience in data analytics required.
  • One year managing others required.
