Job Summary
The AVP, Sr. Video Producer/Editor, will help develop, strategize, and execute the Chubb Creative Services team’s video production needs on behalf of our product lines and functional areas across the organization. As a member of the Global Marketing and Communications team, this seasoned professional will possess deep expertise and proficiency in managing video productions globally, enhancing client and employee engagement, and helping Chubb realize its storytelling goals. You will be part of a small and mighty in-house production team, reporting to the VP of Creative Services. This accomplished practitioner will have worked in a global and highly matrixed company across B2B2C business units – thinking outside the box in terms of creative video production to support a market leading, product-focused organization, A hands-on individual who can work from ideation to and through execution. The individual relishes the opportunity to roll up their sleeves, at times travel with little or no notice (potentially to disaster areas), dig in and keep their pre- and post- production skills up to date, and become be a part of the Chubb’s digital transformation.
Skills/Responsibilities
- The ideal candidate must have corporate video background with a track record of shooting and editing original, high production value video, with live broadcast experience helpful.
- Work with stakeholders to create, develop, produce, and deliver content to our clients.
- Demonstrates strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced & matrixed organization.
- Proficiency with variety professional cameras, lighting, audio and multicamera directing.
- Organize and allocate resources for video projects, helping facilitate the creation of media content.
- Background in and strong understanding of production of live and hybrid events helpful.
- Experience recording and editing podcasts helpful.
- Develop and manage to budget for video productions and live events, including estimates, project scope and timeline for all projects.
- Well-versed in video trends and digital media best practices, a passion for driving change, and a desire to change paradigms
- Assist with the management of external vendors and mentoring the internal team.
- Work with Manager to increase the pool of consultants for editing and animators.
- Travel as necessary to support video productions.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in film/video production, digital design, or other related fields
- 10+ years of experience in video editing and post-production
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Pro Tools, Media Encoder required, DaVinci Resolve highly preferred
- Good communication skills and the ability to listen actively and ask questions to clarify project goals, requirements, associated costs and deadlines.
- Demonstrates high emotional intelligence, a highly collaborative team player
- Excellent strategic thinking and creative problem-solving skills
- Highly skilled at planning, budgeting, and vendor negotiation.
- Working knowledge of CMS and DAM platform
- A strong portfolio of successful, high-quality impactful videos.
- A resourceful, independent self-starter, who enjoys rolling up his/her sleeves to tackle challenges
The pay range for the role is $102,000 to $168,000. The specific offer will depend on an applicant’s skills and other factors. This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program.
