Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the creation and unit testing of AWS data pipeline component(s) as specified in the technical design specifications
  • Lead the collection and reporting of database development metrics and controls
  • Coordinate development activities
  • Participate in the development, planning, and estimation
  • Lead defect resolution processes from prioritization to issue resolution

Position Qualifications:

  • 12 to 16 years of experience
  • Required skills: AWS Services, Python, ETL, and data development deployment, debugging, and automation skills
  • Nice to have skills: AWS Big Data and Kafka
  • Strong hands-on AWS development experience to lead the creation and integration of data structures, procedures, and services required for event-based applications running on AWS using Kafka, Lambda Function, S3 Glue, Athena Cloud Watch, and Event Bridge

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $99,679- $157,028 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
