Volt is immediately hiring for an AWS Engineer in Spokane, WA (Remote)
As an AWS Engineer you will:
Be helping move workflows from delivery to operations, manage AWS workflows, monitor system health, and fix AWS-related issues. In this role, you will work closely with the existing operational team to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Responsibilities:
- Migrate workflows from delivery to operations on AWS
- Manage and monitor AWS workflows
- Troubleshoot AWS issues and provide timely resolution
- Monitor system health using Cloudwatch
- Design, implement and maintain AWS infrastructure
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure AWS best practices are followed
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using AWS tools
- Create and maintain documentation related to AWS systems and processes
- Provide support and guidance to other teams on AWS-related issues
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in AWS
This is a full time opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in AWS engineering
- In-depth knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation, Cloudwatch, etc.
- Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, Git, etc.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash or similar languages
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Pay Rate: $50.00 – $65.00 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate’s education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
