UPMC Corporate is hiring a Computer Aided Facilities Management Intern (CAFM) to join our team for Summer 2023! This position will work Monday through Friday during business hours. The position will have the opportunity to work from home on Fridays after training is completed. This will be a paid internship at the rate of $20/HR.
The CAFM intern will work closely with our team to learn Planon and the power of that database. The CAFM intern will help provide services related to the Planon system which is a space management database system. The position will help to maintain accurate drawings in AutoCAD format for uploading into the Planon software. The role will also accompany the CAFM team on building audits in ensure accuracy of floor layouts and room names and numbers.

Responsibilities:
- Updating Health System base files to ensure accurate layouts.
- Create polylines within AutoCAD for upload into CAFM software (Planon)
- Field Verification Work as Required
Qualifications
- AutoCad 2018 or higher experience preferred
- Reading floorplans preferred
- Architecture, Design Interior or Real Estate related field of study
- Experience with Database Systems would be a bonus
