1. Design, implementation, and maintenance of automated CI/CD pipelines.
2. Management of infrastructure using code – provisioning, configuration, and management of servers, networks, and other resources in a consistent and repeatable manner.
3. Implementation of automated testing practices to validate code changes and ensure the quality of code to help catch bugs and issues early in the development cycle.
4. Monitoring — development of tools and dashboards to collect and analyze data to identify and respond to issues promptly.
5. Managing access controls, implementing security patches, conducting security audits, and ensuring compliance with security standards of DevOps environment.
6. Optimization of resource allocation, load balancing, and employment of auto-scaling mechanisms.
7. In the event of system failures or performance issues, assistance in diagnosing problems, implementation of temporary fixes, and work with cross-functional teams to resolve incidents swiftly.
8. Evaluation, selection, and integration of tools that enhance the development and deployment process.
9. Training and mentoring other team members to help the team improve its DevOps practices.
10. Creation and maintenance of documentation for processes, configurations, and best practices.
Required Skills & Experience
1. Two (2) to four (4) years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work) experience. TERRAFORM AND AZURE
2. Due to contract requirements, this position requires U.S. Citizenship
3. Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, Bash, Ruby, or PowerShell.
4. Experience with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps (TFS), Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD.
5. Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
6. Experience with cloud platforms and services (Azure, AWS, GCP).
7. Experience with IaC and tools (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
8. Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, ELK stack, etc.).
9. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
10. Experience with Azure Cloud administration and configuration technologies.
11. Experience working with Microsoft Windows operating systems, including Windows Server.
12. Working base knowledge of Networking and TCP/IP.
13. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
